Email Notifications

What it is

Email notifications let you receive alerts via email when important trading events occur. You can independently toggle notifications for signal events and trade bot events, giving you full control over what lands in your inbox.

Where to find it

Email notification toggles appear in two places:

  • Signals page, toggles for signal-related email alerts.
  • Settings page, toggles for trade bot-related email alerts.
Screenshot: Email notification toggles on the Settings page

How it works

Each notification type has its own toggle switch with two states:

  • Enabled ∙ you will receive email alerts for that event type.
  • Disabled ∙ no emails are sent for that event type.

On the Signals page you will find two toggles:

ToggleDescription
Signal EnterSends an email when a strategy generates an ENTER signal
Signal ExitSends an email when a strategy generates an EXIT signal

On the Settings page you will find two toggles:

ToggleDescription
Open PositionSends an email when the trade bot opens a new position
Close PositionSends an email when the trade bot closes a position

Key details

  • Each toggle operates independently, you can enable any combination of the four notification types.
  • Email notifications are sent to the email address associated with your account.
  • These toggles are separate from push notification toggles, enabling email notifications does not enable push notifications and vice versa.

Push Notifications

What it is

Push notifications deliver real-time alerts directly to your browser or device. Like email notifications, you can toggle them independently for signal events and trade bot events. Push notifications require a one-time setup to grant browser permissions and subscribe your device.

Where to find it

Push notification toggles appear in the same two places as email notifications:

  • Signals page, toggles for signal-related push alerts.
  • Settings page, toggles for trade bot-related push alerts, plus the device subscription setup.
Screenshot: Push notification toggles on the Signals page

How it works

Each notification type has its own toggle switch with two states:

  • Enabled ∙ you will receive push alerts for that event type.
  • Disabled ∙ no push alerts are sent for that event type.

On the Signals page you will find two toggles:

ToggleDescription
Signal EnterSends a push notification when a strategy generates an ENTER signal
Signal ExitSends a push notification when a strategy generates an EXIT signal

On the Settings page you will find two toggles:

ToggleDescription
Open PositionSends a push notification when the trade bot opens a new position
Close PositionSends a push notification when the trade bot closes a position

Before push notifications can be delivered, you must complete a two-step setup on the Settings page:

  1. Allow Notifications ∙ Click the "Allow Notifications" button. Your browser will display a permission prompt asking you to allow notifications from the site. You must grant this permission.
  2. Subscribe ∙ After granting browser permission, click the "Subscribe" button to register your device for push notifications.

Key details

  • Push notifications will not work until both steps (browser permission and device subscription) are completed.
  • The setup only needs to be done once per browser or device.
  • If you switch browsers or clear your browser data, you may need to re-subscribe.
  • Push notification toggles are independent from email notification toggles, you can use either or both.

Signal Subscriptions

What it is

Signal subscriptions let you follow individual trading strategies to receive their signals. Unlike the Trading page where only one strategy can be active for the bot, you can subscribe to multiple strategies simultaneously to monitor their recommendations.

Where to find it

Open the Signals page and scroll to the Subscriptions to Signals section.

How it works

Each strategy is displayed as a card showing the strategy name, icon, and a profit chart showing historical performance. Below the chart you will find six performance metrics:

MetricDescription
TIME RANGEThe period the backtest covers
LEVERAGEThe leverage multiplier used in the backtest
PROFITABLE TRADESTotal number of trades that ended in profit
LOSING TRADESTotal number of trades that ended in a loss
MAX DRAWDOWNThe largest peak-to-trough decline, shown as a percentage
PROFITOverall return for the backtest period, shown as a percentage

Each strategy card has a Subscribe or Unsubscribe button:

  • Click Subscribe to start receiving signals from that strategy.
  • Click Unsubscribe to stop receiving signals from that strategy.

Key details

  • You can subscribe to multiple strategies at the same time. This is different from the Trading page, where only one strategy can be active for the bot.
  • Signals represent strategy recommendations (when to enter or exit). Trades represent actual bot executions on your Binance account. Subscribing to a strategy's signals does not mean the bot will trade based on that strategy.
  • The strategy cards here show the same performance data as on the Trading page, so you can evaluate strategies before subscribing.
  • Signal subscriptions determine which signals appear in your Trade Signals table and which signals trigger your email and push notifications.
